Kid's Creations IV. – My House (Presentation and Poem)

We all live in an urban area where there are lower rates of educated or literate people and a higher rate of illiterates, most of which are found under the bridges, streets and uncompleted buildings. Furthermore, we live in a one-room apartment where we are ten in numbers with different people from different tribes and religion. Always doing their things differently, that is picking up a fight or quarrel where these is none and should be minding their own business.

Also in our part of the world, there has always been a scarcity of water and our so-called PHCN known as “Power Holdings Company of Nigeria” are just holding the current to themselves without supplying it to the masses or citizens. That is rather unfair. Finally our home in general is more like laying a card-board on a stained surface that is everything around us has been more like hell. In a nutshell, our home is absolutely nothing to write about.

Homeless at Hopeless

We are native of the streets

Hold up under bridges

We are necessary

We are part of our existence

Naja fragment of the globe

As the day camelons tonight

We slump in the warmth

Sorry about the last two lines, I know they don't make sense, but I can not really read it properly from the paper and don't know what the words are supposed to mean.
